HOLIDAY DESTINATIONS

Hong Kong

Travel & Holidays

On 1st July 1997, Hong Kong became a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People’s Republic of China under a unique arrangement referred to as “One Country, Two Systems”. Its constitution, called the Basic Law, ensures Hong Kong is free to continue its own political, social and economic systems and enjoy a high degree of autonomy until 2047.

Hong Kong is Asia’s only truly international city. By selecting the best from East and West, it has created a unique personality. A city of paramount sophistication, Hong Kong sets trends for the world to follow. Picture Hong Kong and you will probably imagine its skyscraping harbour-scape, luxurious hotels, state-of-the-art facilities for business travellers, and great shopping centres. Have you considered, however, all the other wonders which make up one of the most attractive and popular travel destinations in the world? And why you might need at least a week to experience them all?
