Jimbaran Bay

Jimbaran Bay, a sleepy cove where fleets of fishing boats depart for their nightly trips to catch the harvests of the deep. Local families and tourists are drawn here by its beautiful long stretch of sandy beach and the spectacular sunsets.

Jimbaran's calm waters have made it a popular spot for windsufing and small sailing boats. Dotted along the beach are many deluxe hotels and resorts.

PLACES OF INTEREST

Jimbaran's claim to fame is as a centre for good seafood. At sunset the beach is transformed by a multitude of makeshift restaurants and cafes serving freshly barbecued fish and seafood at very competitive prices.
