Legian beach lies to the north of Kuta beach and stretches up to Seminyak and beyond. The beach plays host to people from all over the world who come to indulge in both active and passive pursuits such as reading, surfing, meditating, playing beach volleyball or football and sunbathing.

As the sun goes down the crowds gaze at it's spectacular sight --- and then the action starts in the beach bars and restaurants until the wee small hours.

Like Kuta, shops, cafes and restaurants abound offering the widest range of goods both local and imported, and cafes and restaurants serving cuisines from the 4 corners of the globe. After the sun has gone down the bars and nightlife liven the atmosphere for those who want to be 'with it'. Or stay within the confines of the hotels and view performances of local Balinese Dance.
