Guilin

Guilin is an ancient city on the banks of the Lijiang River in northeastern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the southern part of China.
The city of Guilin has long been renowned for its beautiful mountains and the Lijiang Riverscapes. The city has a history going back over 2000 years.
PLACES OF INTEREST

The Elephant Trunk Hill - Situated at the junction of the Lijiang and Yangjiang Rivers, as its name suggests it  looks like a giant elephant drinking water with its trunk. The Elephant Trunk Hill is commonly regarded as the emblem of Guilin.
Seven Star Park -  the biggest park with an area of 40 hectares and the best natural surroundings with well-known tourist spots such as the Guilin Stelae Forest, Bonsai Garden, Zoo, Flower Bridge, Seven Star Cave and Moon Cave.
Guilin Stele Forest
-There are about 2,000 pieces of stone carvings and inscriptions in the Stele Forest.
