Coral Coast

The Coral Coast starts approximately 20kms south of Nadi town and stretches for more than 100 kms to Pacific Harbour. It is the home to some of Fiji’s best known hotels and resorts. The Queens Road runs through cane fields, pine forests and along spectacular stretches of lagoons and beaches. Coconut palms, secluded bays and beaches, villages and secluded places where the visitor can stop to admire the view or take refreshments. Make this one of Fiji’s favourite holiday destinations. The main town on the way is Sigatoka which has a wide range of facilities such as shopping – for both locals and tourists, entertainment, sporting facilities, health and medical services, transportation and communications.

Sigatoka Sand Dunes. A striking contrast of a small arid desert amid the lushness of the surrounding tropical vegetation. Important archeological relics of immense significance to the history of Fiji and the South Pacific have been found here.

Momi Bay. The historic WWII Momi Bay Battery was established by the New Zealand 30th battalion in 1941, because of it´s strategic importance overlooking the Navula passage - one of the few breaks in the reef allowing ships access to the western centres and Nadi airfield.
