Hua Hin/Cha-Am

Located 190km south of Bangkok on the west coast of the Gulf of Thailand, Hua Hin is the oldest beach resort in Thailand and has been the Thai royal family’s summer residence since the 1920’s. Cha-am, its sister resort is some 30kms to the north. These two beach resorts offer excellent accommodation, fine beaches, a wide range of water sports, shopping, excellent seafood restaurants and are renowned for their golf courses. Hua Hin and Cha-am offer relaxation for all the family.

Night Market - visit the night market to find some bargains.
Golfing - home to Thailand's first golf course, Hua-Hin boasts several courses for golf enthusiasts.
Klai Kang Won Palace - built by King Rama 7 for his wife in 1926, this palace is in the European style, and also features ornamental gardens.
Petchaburi - take an excursion to Petchaburi to see its historical temples and old wooden buildings.
Railway Hotel - now the Hotel Sofitel Central, this historic building dates back to the early 1900's, when the railway first came to Hua-Hin.
